As a follow-up to my previous post, I note that the Yankees donated the David Ortiz shirt excavated from the construction site of their new stadium to the Jimmy Fund, the Red Sox's official charity that is affiliated with Boston's Dana-Farber Cancer Institute.
A car dealer owner in Boston paid $175,000 for the shirt via an eBay auction. So, a good charity benefits.
No news yet on the possibility of the Yankees suing the offending (Red Sox fan) construction worker.
