Each year I enjoy visiting the PA Farm Show, where farm produce, animals, machinery, etc. is on display. While I grew up in NYC (AKA the Asphalt Jungle) I have always enjoyed seeing farm animals in person.
There are always interesting sights to see, people to meet and food to sample. PA is a major producer of butter, and each year a unique "butter" sculpture is unveiled. Here's this year's sculpture.

After discovering that the potato donut is tasty, but tastes like any other respectable donut, I've stayed with noshing on soft (hemp) pretzels and maple-infused ice cream. Foods you can't get everyday (at least not fresh).
Fortunately, we did not experience last week another reputed Farm Show week staple - the first major snowfall of the winter. Can't wait to go back next year.
