Ex-NFL player Michael Vick is now serving a 23 month sentence for running a dog fighting enterprise. In many cases, when dog fighting operations are broken up, the "rescued" fighting dogs are euthanized. They are deemed unfit for adoption.
Not all dog "experts" agree. Fortunately, many of Vick's dogs are being rehabilitated and will find a happy future.
