The First Basket

Later this month, I plan to see an excellent documentary, The First Basket, on the history of basketball. While most people who care anything about sports know basketball was invented in America, not so many realize the contributions of Jewish players (and fans) in popularizing the game.

My dad played the game in his youth. I guess I inherited his love of the game (but not his talent as a player).
